fundamentalist pitfalls. Come and
learn that you donŐt have to check your brain at the door to engage Scripture

Presentations: When the Church
Talks Politics and When Politics Talks the Church
Dan Puchalla and Fern Turner will present their ministry
projects. At 6 pm, Dan will
present his project, "The Crosier and the Sword: A Theological Critique of the
Episcopal Church's Political Activism and Recommendations for Alternative
Practices." At 7:15 pm, Fern will
discuss "When a Moral Man Leads an Immoral Society: Reinhold Niebuhr's
Christian realism and the presidency of Jimmy Carter." Supper will be provided at 5:30 pm.
